Warsaw, March 12, 2026

The evening of Sztuka na Złotej 44 in 2026 began with the ART TALK Academy of Fine Arts & 407 Art Foundation. The meeting gathered art collectors, business leaders, and contemporary art enthusiasts. The discussion was moderated by curator Aron Pudełko. He was joined by Professor Andrzej Zwierzchowski from the Akademia Sztuk Pięknych w Warszawie. The ART TALK introduced the audience to the topic of abstraction. It also explored its role in the development of modern visual language.

The conversation was structured as a journey through the history of painting. Speakers showed how the understanding of images evolved over centuries.

From Caravaggio’s light to modern artistic transformation

The discussion began with the work of Caravaggio. He was presented as a master of dramatic light in figurative painting. His works show how light builds emotion and narrative intensity. They also demonstrate how symbolism can coexist with realism. More information about the artist can be found at

The conversation then moved to the work of Pablo Picasso. His experiments with form opened the door to modern abstraction. Picasso demonstrated that art does not need to replicate reality. Viewers still recognize a face even when it is fragmented or simplified.

The idea of the absolute: Michelangelo and Malevich

One of the most engaging moments compared two visions of the absolute. The speakers contrasted the work of Michelangelo and Kazimir Malevich. Michelangelo expressed transcendence through the human figure. Malevich reduced the image to pure form and color. This comparison showed how different artistic strategies address similar philosophical questions.

Color, perception, and optical illusion

Another section focused on the role of color in abstract art. The speakers discussed the experiments of Josef Albers. His work demonstrates how color perception changes depending on context. Albers’ research shaped modern art education.

The discussion also included the work of Bridget Riley. Her paintings explore visual perception and optical illusion. They demonstrate how the viewer becomes an active participant in the artwork.

Collectors and the art market experience

An important part of the ART TALK involved art collectors. They represented the community gathered around 407 Art Foundation. Collectors discussed how they select artworks for their collections. They also shared insights into the process of building a collection. Education and dialogue with artists were highlighted as key elements. Participants also spoke about collector dinners organized by the Foundation. These meetings allow collectors to exchange knowledge and experiences. This approach helps build a strong collecting community.

Education and the next generation of collectors

The ART TALK Academy of Fine Arts & 407 Art Foundation is part of a broader educational program. Its goal is to increase knowledge about the art market. The program includes initiatives called New Generation of Collectors and Art Market Education. These meetings connect artists, professors, and collectors. Such encounters create valuable dialogue between different parts of the art world.

Introduction to Klaudia Krzosek’s artistic language

The ART TALK also prepared the audience for the next part of the evening. It introduced viewers to the artistic language of Klaudia Krzosek. On the same day the artist presented her new series The Colors of Color. The exhibition explored her approach to light, color, and abstraction. The paintings were the result of two years of artistic work. Visitors could experience how abstract language functions in contemporary painting.
