In collaboration with the Warsaw Film School, promoting contemporary art through cinema
Supporting Bartlomiej Majcher – a Young Filmmaker and a New Feature Film.
The 407 Art Foundation is proud to announce signing the agreement with the Warsaw Film School. As part of our mission to support culture and emerging talent, we are acting as patron of the feature film “Mirella”, created by promising filmmaker Bartłomiej Majcher.
This project would not have been possible without the financial support of our Foundation. We believe that part of our mission is to help outstanding artists overcome financial barriers and bring their unique visions to life.
Paintings by Klaudia Krzosek Featured in the Film
Three original oil-on-canvas paintings by Klaudia Krzosek (created between 2023–2025) appear as part of the film’s set design. Two of these works are already a part of private collections. We extend our sincere thanks to private collectors for sharing the canvas with the Production Team. The third painting, in shades of blue and sized 80×80 cm, is available for purchase and forms part of Klaudia’s latest painting series.
This unique use of visual art in a cinematic context exemplifies our innovative approach to promoting contemporary Polish artists. Viewers will not only be immersed in the narrative of the film, but also introduced to fine art as an integral part of the film’s visual storytelling.
A Shared Mission with the Warsaw Film School
At the 407 Art Foundation, we are committed to building bridges between disciplines, empowering talent, and promoting culture in new and accessible ways. The Warsaw Film School shares these values, as a place where young filmmakers are encouraged to explore, take creative risks, and develop their own artistic voices.
Our collaboration proves that cultural patronage can have a meaningful impact – supporting emerging voices while connecting diverse artistic communities.
Looking Ahead: Festival Screenings and Artistic Recognition
The film “Mirella” is set to be presented at film festivals in Poland and abroad. We are excited to follow its journey – not only for its artistic content, but also for the opportunity it presents to showcase contemporary Polish painting in a new and powerful context.
We will keep our community informed about screenings, premieres, and other updates. Follow our website and social media channels to stay in the loop – and don’t miss the chance to see extraordinary artworks woven into a cinematic narrative.
Open to Future Collaborations
The 407 Art Foundation is always open to new collaborations. We invite creators, art schools, directors, and producers to reach out to us. If your project connects different branches of art and culture, we would love to hear from you.
Together, we can continue creating opportunities for Polish artists and promoting contemporary culture at home and internationally.
