Klaudia Krzosek (2000)
Eta Carinae B / 100 x 100 cm / oil on canvas / 2026
This star is the focal point of spectacular cosmic events that are modernly interpreted mythologically as struggle and rebirth.
This painting represent one of seven – its an amulet of family and clan unity. A symbol of fighting for another family member and a sign of the highest loyalty to loved ones. In Greek mythology, the Pleiades are the seven daughters of the Titan Atlas and the nymph Pleione, who were transferred to the sky as stars by Zeus to protect them from the hunter Orion.
“When you look at Klaudia Krzosek paintings, you feel as if you were crossing the border of light. You literally immerse yourself in color. Each line is a fiber of energy, each layer is a frequency of mood, and the center… the center draws you in like a vortex, like a portal to your own imagination. These are not paintings to “watch”. These are paintings that breathe with you.
You change the angle of view – they change. Depth appears. Space. Movement. When the light falls differently, the paintings start to live, showing you a different layer, different emotions and a different color. It is art like a pulse – it reacts to the light, to you, for a moment. Once you see a space of blue peace. Another time – pulsating green, or deep red. As if the color told you who you are today. And how you feel.
Klaudia Krzosek does not paint colors – she constructs them. Technical precision goes hand in hand with absolute emotionality. Her paintings are intricately woven structures – thousands of lines, each in a different shades of color that together create something more than a picture. They create an experience.” Aron Pudełko – curator
The Colors of Color exhibition feature 30 original works that redefine how we perceive space, color, and our relationship as viewers. We turn our focus to the captivating world of color, light, and the dynamic interplay between the two, inviting a broader conversation about the evolving dimension of abstract art. Abstract art has long served as a space for expanding the boundaries of perception. From the optical illusions of Op Art to contemporary explorations of light and spatial interactions, abstraction continues to challenge and awaken the senses.
