Vernissage at Złota 44
407 Art Foundation, together with curator Dr. Grażyna Bastek and artist Wojciech Cieśniewski, officially opened a new exhibition in the prestigious Złota 44 venue, bringing together outstanding figures from the world of art and culture, as well as numerous collectors from Poland and abroad. The event, part of the “Art at Złota 44” series, took place in a unique atmosphere—featuring exquisite refreshments, glasses of champagne, and live musical performances.
A Meeting of Art and Emotions
During the ceremonial presentation, the new cycle of paintings by Wojciech Cieśniewski, titled “FACES OF THE SOUL: Virtues and Sins”—comprising 12 pieces—was showcased. The display sparked lively discussions and genuine emotions among some guests. Each painting was discussed with passion, emphasizing the variety of perspectives on art and leaving room for multi-level interpretation. The intensity of reactions proved how significant a role artistic experience can play in human relationships.
Patronage and Partners
The exhibition is held under the honorary patronage of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and the Mayor of the Śródmieście District of Warsaw. The Strategic Partner of the exhibition is the Sadkowski i Wspólnicy Law Firm, whose Partner, Attorney Czesław Sadkowski, highlighted in his speech the important role art plays in our lives.
Catalog Signings and Meeting the Artist
A particularly moving highlight of the evening was the opportunity to meet the artist in person. A long queue—lasting over an hour—for autographs in the specially published catalog for the event confirmed the tremendous interest in Wojciech Cieśniewski’s work and longstanding career.
Lively Conversations Behind the Scenes
The evening culminated in discussions and an exchange of views among invited guests and collectors from both home and abroad. The exhibition received excellent reviews, emphasizing the depth of expression and message in the “FACES OF THE SOUL: Virtues and Sins” series. The organizers noted that this is only the beginning of a shared journey through the world of art.
