Wojciech Cieśniewski’s Exhibition “Faces of the Soul: Virtues and Sins” Joins Warsaw’s Night of Museums 2025

The 407 Art Foundation, in collaboration with the Wojciech Cieśniewski Foundation, is proud to invite the public to a powerful artistic experience during Warsaw’s Night of Museums 2025. On May 17th, from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM, visitors are welcome to explore the exhibition “FACES OF THE SOUL: Virtues and Sins” at Hoża 27, unit 10 — a unique collection of paintings by Wojciech Cieśniewski, one of Poland’s most compelling contemporary painters.

This exhibition offers a rare opportunity to engage with art that resonates deeply with the viewer. As curator Aron Pudelko notes, the collection “touches on both the universal and the personal, merging the spiritual with the physical and psychological.” Co-curator Dr. Grażyna Bastek adds that Cieśniewski “places the human being at the center – as a figure full of contradictions, dreams, and weaknesses, yet capable of heroism and goodness.”

The exhibition premiered at the prestigious Złota 44 residential tower as part of the “Art at Złota 44” series organized by the 407 Art Foundation. During an exclusive preview for collectors, several of the works were acquired and will soon become part of private collections — making the Night of Museums a final chance to see the full exhibition in one place.

The exhibition is held with the support of strategic partner Sadkowski i Wspólnicy law firm, under the honorary patronage of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and the Mayor of Warsaw’s Śródmieście District.

Don’t miss this opportunity to witness a collection that not only reflects the soul — but stirs it.
