Contemporary Artists selected, supported, and presented to art collectors

The 407 Art Foundation brings together a carefully curated group of contemporary artists whose work reflects the highest artistic quality and strong individual voice. Each artist presented in this section has been selected through a curatorial process and collaborates with the Foundation as part of our mission to support talent and introduce Polish art to a wider audience in Poland and abroad.

Our artists are not only creators we believe in – they are talents we actively promote. The Foundation organizes their exhibitions, vernissages, artistic projects, and international presentations. We are not their merchants, but we assist them on specific stage of their professional development: from building visibility and narrative, to preparing catalogues, film productions, and introducing their work to new markets.

At the same time, the 407 Art Foundation provides collectors with direct access to original works, without the commissions typical of traditional auction houses. Each artist featured here creates unique, investment-worthy pieces, available to our community of art collectors through private presentations, curated selections, and special pre-sale opportunities.

We invite you to explore the profiles of the artists we support and discover their stories, follow their exhibitions, and find artworks that will become part of your art collection. We are here to assist you with the best option for you, so the selected artwork match your art collector profile and budget.

Wojciech Cieśniewski

Wojciech Cieśniewski

Fine Art Painter

Cieśniewski (born 1958) is considered one of the most significant contemporary Polish painters, recognized for both his artistic and intellectual achievements. In later years, he returned to figurative painting, engaging in a dialogue with the traditions of European art, drawing inspiration from masters such as Caravaggio, Giotto, Michelangelo, Gian Lorenzo Bernini, and Vermeer. The exhibition “The Faces of the Soul: Virtues and Sins”, initiated by the 407 Art Foundation in 2025, is an attempt to redefine concepts deeply rooted in culture – concepts that have shaped humanity’s moral compass for centuries.
