Art Collectors’ Dinner 2026 Around the Art of Klaudia Krzosek
On 19 September 2026, this year’s Collectors’ Dinner, organised by 407 Art Foundation, took place at Elixir by Dom Wódki restaurant in Warsaw. This time, the evening was dedicated to Klaudia Krzosek and to the families who have her paintings from the latest art series The Colors of Color in their collections.
More than 20 collector families gathered around one table. Some of them have been with us from the very first day. Others are only beginning their journey into art collecting. They all have one thing in common. Paintings by Klaudia Krzosek are present in their homes, and her art has become part of the spaces in which they live every day.
A Community Built Around an Artist
Collectors’ Dinner is part of the Foundation’s New Generation of Collectors programme. Its aim is to encourage new people to collect art consciously and to support them in building their own collections. The Foundation shares knowledge, explains the language of art and helps collectors better understand the work of artists. We show their individuality, the meaning behind their work and what makes their artistic language distinctive and unique.
One of the important principles of the programme is also to build communities around individual artists. This model has long been present in mature collecting communities. Collectors do not simply buy works of art. They get to know the artists, meet other owners of their works, exchange experiences and follow together the development of the art they have chosen to include in their collections.
Such a meeting offers something that cannot be experienced through the purchase of a painting alone. It allows collectors to understand the person behind the work.
An Evening with Klaudia Krzosek
During the dinner, collectors had the opportunity to have long and informal conversations with Klaudia Krzosek. The artist with Akademia Sztuk Pięknych background spoke about her creative process, the journey she has taken, as well as her upcoming projects and new painting series. It was an opportunity to experience her art from a perspective that is not available through a traditional encounter with a painting.
The conversations quickly moved beyond art itself. They touched on emotions, personal experiences and the way paintings begin to function within private spaces. Several times during the evening, we heard very similar words from collectors: they would not want to sell their Klaudia Krzosek painting because it is beautiful and has already become part of their life.
Perhaps this sentence best expresses the meaning of collecting. A work of art ceases to be an object. It begins to accompany its owner. It shapes the atmosphere of a home, evokes emotions and, over time, becomes part of a family’s story.
A Special Gift from the Artist
Klaudia also prepared a personal gift for each of the participating families. These were original sketches offering a first glimpse into the direction of her new works.
New colour tones appear in them, while the elements characteristic of her painting remain. There is light, rhythm and the interplay of woven lines. These elements form the visual language that is becoming an increasingly recognisable signature of the artist.
Each family therefore took home not a reproduction or a commemorative print, but an authentic trace of Klaudia’s creative process. A fragment of a story that is only beginning to unfold.
Collecting Is Also About Knowledge
Education is an important part of the New Generation of Collectors programme. During the dinner, Aron Pudełko therefore presented the guests with selected examples from art history. He showed works by other artists and spoke about the evolution of styles and artistic languages.
It was not a lecture. It was a starting point for conversation. Questions emerged, along with different interpretations and the collectors’ own experiences. The discussion moved naturally from art history to contemporary art, and then to the paintings that the participants encounter every day in their own homes.
This is how we understand collector education. Not as providing ready made answers, but as developing curiosity and the ability to look more consciously.
After Three Years, We Can See the Change
For 407 Art Foundation, this evening also had a special significance. After three years of activity, we can see how quickly the group of people beginning their journey into art collecting is growing. With the support and mentoring of the Foundation, many of them are now building their first conscious collections.
Over time, a collection also begins to say something about its owner. It reflects their sensitivity, interests and way of looking at the world. It can also tell the story of their own development.
This is why our goal is not only to promote Polish art and artists. We also want to build a community of conscious collectors. We give them the opportunity to meet the artists whose works they own. We help them understand their artistic language and intentions. As a result, collectors themselves can later talk about these works with their friends and guests in their own spaces. In this way, the story of the painting and the artist’s message begin to live on.
Seven Hours That Passed Too Quickly
The dinner lasted seven hours. The conversations hardly ever stopped. There were flowers for Klaudia, personal gifts, exquisite food and, above all, time that nobody seemed particularly interested in watching that evening.
Many people met for the first time. A few hours later, it was difficult to believe that this had been the case. The guests of the Collectors’ Dinner were the last people to leave the restaurant.
And perhaps this is the best indication of whether the format of the evening worked.
The Collectors’ Dinner 2026 was fully funded by 407 Art Foundation as part of the Foundation’s statutory activities. Its purpose was to promote art collecting and Polish art, support education and create a space for the exchange of ideas and experiences.
We want collecting not to end when a painting is hung on the wall. That is when the relationship with the artwork, the artist and the people who share a similar passion truly begins.
The evening with Klaudia Krzosek showed us that such a community already exists. And that it is growing.
It was a magical evening. One of those evenings that stays in the memory for a long time.
We encourage everyone to join our community of art collectors and begin exploring art as never before with no member fees. Contact us.

Klaudia Krzosek The Colors of Color – An exhibition as a Bridge Between Past and Future
The Colors of Color exhibition focuses on color and light in abstraction.
Klaudia Krzosek builds her paintings from thousands of precise lines. These lines form vibrating fields of energy.
Her works react to changing light conditions. They shift, deepen, and transform throughout the evening.
Her practice connects to the legacy of Kandinsky, Rothko, Bridget Riley, and Wojciech Fangor. At the same time, it opens a new emotional dimension of geometric abstraction.
The paintings do not only engage the eye. They engage the entire perception of the viewer.
