407 Art Foundation supported MOSAIC Group Artistic Iniciative
The “Malujemy Mural” project demonstrated how street art can become a powerful tool for education, dialogue, and international cooperation among young artists. In September 2024, Kraków hosted a group of young creatives from Poland and Romania as part of an international youth exchange implemented within the Erasmus+ programme.
The project was organised by the Mosaic Association in cooperation with Creative Plus, which were responsible for the concept, educational programme and coordination of the international group of participants. A key role in enabling the exchange was played by 407 Art Foundation, whose support made it possible to finance the international artistic exchange and create professional conditions for artistic work in public space.
Street art as an educational experience
The ten-day programme combined theoretical and practical workshops focused on street art, mural painting and contemporary visual practices. Participants developed technical skills, learned how to work collectively, and gained experience in creating a shared artistic project. The programme culminated in the creation of a mural at the AGH student campus, based on a design by Anna Kliniewska and realised under the guidance of experienced mural artist Nina Dziwoki.
The completed mural now stands as a lasting outcome of cross-border collaboration – a symbol of cultural dialogue, shared responsibility and creative courage.
Part of a national cultural promotion programme
“Malujemy Mural” formed part of the Romania–Poland Cultural Season 2024/2025 and was included in the artistic promotion programme of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, implemented in cooperation with the Adam Mickiewicz Institute and Romanian cultural partners. The project highlighted the role of contemporary art and street art in cultural diplomacy and youth education.
Supporting young artists as a long-term mission
The involvement of the 407 Art Foundation in the “Malujemy Mural” project reflects its long-term mission to support initiatives that offer young artists real opportunities for growth, international collaboration and artistic development. Projects like this strengthen creative confidence and encourage young artists to continue building their presence in the public and cultural sphere.
Supporting Young Artists
Thanks to the support of 407 Art Foundation, the initiative gained a broader international dimension, while the project’s financial stability allowed both young artists and organisers to focus fully on its artistic value without concerns about funding. We deeply appreciate everyone who supports the Foundation’s activities. Through donations made to the 407 Art Foundation, supporters directly contribute to the realisation of meaningful projects that nurture creativity and unlock the artistic potential of the younger generation. Thank you for every contribution, and we kindly invite you to continue supporting the Foundation so that we can deliver more initiatives like this in the future.
