Warsaw, November 13, 2025
Polish contemporary art has been gaining increasing recognition worldwide. More and more artists are building visibility outside Poland, and international audiences are showing genuine interest in the creative energy coming from Central Europe. 407 Art Foundation promotes artists not only through initiatives on the Polish market but also by strengthening the presence of Polish art abroad. Our mission is to help artists reach new audiences, critics and collectors in key cultural centres.
In the fourth quarter of 2025, the Foundation’s founders, Aron Pudełko and Grzegorz Jaworski, held a series of strategic meetings with galleries, art spaces and private institutions supporting culture in New York and Prague. These discussions marked the beginning of a dialogue with partners whose artistic profile aligns with the vision and character of the artists associated with the 407 Art Foundation. The aim is clear: to create opportunities for Polish artists to exhibit their work internationally and to draw the attention of foreign collectors, curators and art critics.
407 Art Foundation promotes artists by building international relationships
The global art market evolves rapidly, and visibility outside one’s home country is often essential for long-term artistic development. 407 Art Foundation promotes artists who have the potential to connect with international audiences and participate in global cultural conversations.
During the visits in New York and Prague, the Foundation engaged in discussions with institutions interested in exploring new voices from Poland. The talks focused on exchange formats, exhibition concepts and possibilities for collaborative projects that could serve as a gateway for Polish artists to enter established cultural ecosystems.
These steps are fundamental, as many Polish artists gained recognition precisely through international exposure. Wilhelm Sasnal, Agnieszka Polska, Joanna Piotrowska, Jakub Julian Ziółkowski and Tomasz Baran all developed their careers significantly thanks to exhibitions and projects beyond Poland’s borders. Their stories show why expanding the international reach of Polish art is essential today.
Promoting Polish art abroad – why it matters
New York remains one of the most competitive art capitals in the world, where visibility can significantly accelerate an artist’s career. Prague, in turn, is a dynamic hub for Central European contemporary art, attracting galleries and collectors from the entire region. By establishing relationships in these cities, the Foundation creates opportunities that can translate into long-term artistic development.
These activities also strengthen the international perception of Polish visual culture in the USA and Czechia, allowing it to enter global conversations and artistic trends.
International programmes: Art From Poland to London and Art From Poland to Dubai
The Foundation expands its international scope through two dedicated programmes created to present selected artists on foreign markets.
Art From Poland to London
London remains one of the world’s most influential art centres. The ART FROM POLAND TO LONDON aims to introduce Polish artists to British galleries, auction houses and private institutions searching for new international talent. Presenting artists in this environment helps strengthen their market position and professional recognition in Great Britain.
Art From Poland to Dubai
Dubai is one of the world’s most rapidly developing art destinations, with a dynamic community of collectors from Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Through ART FROM POLAND TO DUBAI, the Foundation seeks to showcase Polish artists in galleries and institutions in the UAE, offering access to a global and diverse audience.
Artists participating in these programmes are selected by the Foundation’s Curatorial Committee, ensuring high artistic quality and alignment with the expectations of local markets.
Promotion of Polish Art Internationally – a strategic programme of the Foundation
One of the key aspects of the Foundation’s mission is the Promotion of Polish Art Internationally Programme, which focuses on:
fostering international cultural relationships,
building networks with foreign institutions and collectors,
organising exhibitions outside Poland,
increasing awareness of Polish art,
supporting artists in their global artistic development.
This long-term strategy ensures professionalism, continuity and increasing visibility for Polish contemporary art on the international stage.
